Subject: Title engraving: This rare large title engraving shows royal and ecclestical figures including a lion, angels, allegorizing the plan for the Jesuit Karls Church in Mannheim Germany and the cooperation between Royals and Church. 2 Medallions on top show the royal benefactors who commanded the building of this Italianesque church: the Duke of Pfalz-Neuberg: Karl Phillip and the ‘Kurfurst’: Karl Theodor of Pfalz-Neuburg-Sulzbach. In the background a view onto the monastery.

Please study scan carefully. 2 Light stains in lower right and left margins. Blank rear with manuscript writing, which spotwise bleeds through a bit, but barely visible.
